Duration: 30 Days | Region: Biafo Glacier, Karakoram | Grade: Alpine Technical | Best Time: July – September
Organized by PakJourney – Pakistan’s Premier Adventure Partner
Overview
Lukpilla Brakk (5380m) is one of the most approachable and scenic climbing peaks in the Karakoram, located near the Biafo Glacier. Its unique appeal lies not only in its breathtaking surroundings but also in its open zone status, meaning no trekking or climbing permit is required from the Ministry of Tourism. This makes it one of the most accessible technical climbs in Pakistan’s high mountains.
Set against the dramatic landscapes of Baintha and Marpho Goro, the Lukpilla Brakk Expedition offers a combination of trekking across ancient glaciers, camping under pristine skies, and technical alpine climbing—all in a truly remote and peaceful environment.
Whether you’re an aspiring alpinist looking to experience your first technical summit or a seasoned climber looking for a low-regulation challenge, Lukpilla Brakk is your perfect peak.
