Duration: 40 Days | Region: Batura Muztagh, Hunza, Pakistan | Season: June to September
Organized by PakJourney – Specialized High-Altitude Expeditions in Pakistan
Overview
Passu Peak (7,284m) rises from the Batura Muztagh range in upper Hunza and is one of the lesser-climbed but incredibly scenic high-altitude peaks of the Karakoram Range. Located near the picturesque Passu village, just 150 km from Gilgit and 100 km from the China border, the peak is surrounded by legendary mountains like Batura I (7,885m), Shispare (7,619m), and Kampir Dior (7,611m).
Passu Peak lies in a vast, glacially dominated area where Passu, Batura, Ghulkin, and Kamaris glaciers converge, offering a dramatic setting with icefalls, hidden crevasses, and snow domes.
This expedition provides a true alpine experience, ideal for climbers with prior technical climbing skills and glacier travel experience.
