Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad
Arrive in Pakistan’s capital city and transfer to your hotel. Relax and prepare for the upcoming adventure. If time allows, explore sites like Faisal Mosque and Lok Virsa Museum.
Day 2: Fly to Gilgit or Drive to Chilas
If weather permits, take a breathtaking flight over Nanga Parbat to Gilgit. If the flight is cancelled, we drive via the Karakoram Highway to Chilas, passing along the Indus River.
Day 3: Drive to Minapin
From Gilgit or Chilas, we travel to Minapin, a peaceful village in the Nagar Valley. This is the starting point of the trek and offers the first views of Rakaposhi.
Day 4: Trek to Hapakun (2,800m)
A short but steady ascent through forest trails takes us to Hapakun, a serene alpine camping site. The view of the massive Rakaposhi wall dominates the background.
Day 5: Trek to Tagaphari (3,300m)
