Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport. Meet our team and transfer to your hotel. Optional city tour of Islamabad depending on arrival time.
Day 2: Fly to Skardu (or drive to Chilas if weather delays flight)
Enjoy a stunning mountain flight over Nanga Parbat and the Indus Valley (weather permitting). If the flight is canceled, drive to Chilas along the Karakoram Highway.
Day 3: Drive to Shigar Brok
We drive through Skardu Valley, passing along the Indus River, and continue into the ancient Shigar Valley, a stronghold of Balti culture. Camp at Brok, a traditional seasonal pasture.
Day 4: Trek from Shigar Brok to Thalay La Base Camp
Trekking begins as we move through alpine pastures and small streams. Overnight camp near Thalay La Base, with views of surrounding glaciers and rocky peaks.
Day 5: Cross Thalay La Pass to Olmong Chumik
An early start leads us to the top of Thalay La (4,572m), offering sweeping views of the Karakoram. We descend gradually to Olmong Chumik, a peaceful campsite in a scenic valley.
Day 6: Trek from Olmong Chumik to Kashumik
We continue through valleys dotted with wildflowers and traditional stone shelters. Night camping at Kashumik, another seasonal grazing site.
Day 7: Trek to Hushe Village
Today we descend into Hushe Valley, a gateway to some of the most famous climbing expeditions in Pakistan. Hushe is a charming Balti village with dramatic mountain backdrops.
Day 8: Trek from Hushe to Brumubrama
We begin the approach toward Masherbrum Base Camp, following glacier ridges and moraines. Camp at Brumubrama, surrounded by icy landscapes and towering peaks.
Day 9: Explore Masherbrum Base Camp (4,200m approx.)

Day 10: Return to Hushe Village
Trek back along the same trail, returning to the peaceful and hospitable Hushe village. Evening tea and Balti hospitality await.
Day 11: Drive to Khaplu
Travel to Khaplu, one of Baltistan’s most beautiful towns, known for its historic Khaplu Fort and apricot orchards. Overnight in a hotel or guesthouse.
Day 12: Drive back to Skardu
We return to Skardu, with time to explore the local market or visit Shangrila Resort and Satpara Lake.
Day 13: Fly to Islamabad / Drive to Chilas (Weather-dependent)
Catch a return flight to Islamabad if weather allows, otherwise begin the drive via Chilas with a night stay en route.
Day 14: Arrive in Islamabad
Drive continues if traveling by road. Free evening to rest or explore Islamabad’s modern sights and food streets.
